Roshni Savjani trained at Rose Bruford College in Stage Managemen. Over her time as a stage manager she has managed and toured over 50 professional productions. The productions vary from resident seasons at the Bridewell Theatre and Theatre Royal Stratford East, annual pantomimes with the acclaimed First Family entertainment, to accessible theatre with the boldly pioneering Graeae. Transcending the UK, Roshni has toured to international festivals in Brazil, Germany, and Mexico and was also involved in the Rio Paralympics in 2016; a highlight of her time on the road.
Roshni stepped out of the touring circuit to join the Birmingham Stage Company (BSC) as General Manager five years ago. Her role here has equipped her with new skills in theatre administration and tour booking inspiring her to set up her own company, Don’t Stop the Beat Productions which is now producing sell-out musical tribute acts including Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin and Bob Marley. Roshni’s stage management, general management and producing skills combined with her insatiable creative appetite have ensured that DSTB continues to go from strength to strength.
Roshni is a firm believer of celebrating life's achievements and does so regulary with prosecco Friday! (Except when she's not drinking. Then she's ever so boring!)
