Finally, finally, finally Donald J Trump has made the mistake I’ve been waiting for him to make for four years. I couldn’t help smiling last night as I watched the scenes unfold. It was his most irrevocable mistake. Nothing will wipe away the image of his thugs sitting on the speaker’s chair. This is Trump’s America and it has finally forced even the most disgusting, pusillanimous Republicans who have enabled and cheered him on to acknowledge that THIS is what Trump has always been about.  Trump couldn’t give twopence about America or the American people: it has always been about him and he was prepared to take the entire country down. The mask, that all sane people could see through, is finally shattered. Goodbye Trump.
