I’m sitting here in the rehearsal room about to do a run of Tom Gates in front of the author Liz Pichon, her agent at David Higham, her publisher Scholastic, our publicists and the BSC office team. It’s the first time any of them will have seen what we’ve been doing for five weeks. There’s still a while to go before we open – two weeks today! Next week we move to the theatre in Horsham to start the technical and dress rehearsals before the world premiere performance on Valentine’s Day. I have already declared my love for Tom Gates – let’s hope they all enjoy this afternoon’s run!
